HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY TO ALL - GREETINGS FROM MONA TOWNSHIPS
26th January 1950 imprints a standout among the most welcoming day in Indian history, a day when the Constitution of India came into force. The Constitution, which was passed by the Constituent Assembly of India on 26 November 1949, was adopted on 26 January 1950 with a democratic government system. 26 January was selected for this purpose because it was this day in 1930 when the Declaration of Indian Independence (Purna Swaraj) was proclaimed by the Indian National Congress.
To mark this great day in a significant way a grand parade is held,that starts from Rashtrapati Bhawan and passes along the Rajpath thus ending at India Gate. The President unfolds the National Flag, as the National Anthem is played the President addresses the nation with Republic Day speech. Furthermore, the Republic Day parade also includes lively displays and exhibits India's rich and colouful culture and also brings the entire nation together. The parade concludes with the flypast by Indian Air Force jets.
Republic Day is celebration of patriotism, unity peace, enjoy, proud, pleasure and inspiration.
The Chairman Mr.Tejinder Pal Setia said that today’s freedom is the blessing of those patriots who sacrificed their life for the freedom movement. He also added that today’s youth should step forward to protect the patriotism.
